NBA All-Stars Make Renovations at Capdau

Shown above:The NBA All-Star Game was played in New Orleans on Feb. 17, 2008. UNO's Pierre A. Capdau Charter School was the recipient of some of the NBA's goodwill and community service program. All-Star players from the East and West squads worked on campus to paint the cafeteria, hallways and stairwells, and superstars such as Yao Ming and Rasheed Wallace worked outdoors to lay a new grass athletic field at the Franklin Ave. school.
